This is a very special thread for people who have been to Israel before. What were some of your fondest memories? Or your favorite places? What would suggest to people who will be going soon?

My favorite area in all of Israel has to be the Galil (Galilee). I love the atmosphere of the area. The area especially to the north has a peace and tranquility that does not exist anywhere else in Israel. This is odd since in the past the Galilee was known as being a place of rebellion, i.e. the Zealots were started at Gamla in the Galilee. I enjoy sitting at the end of the day and watching as the setting sun turns the hills on the eastern shore of the Sea of Galilee a rose color. I also love walking the shores of the lake at night and sitting and looking across the lake.
Ok, now I have made myself homesick (sigh!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Yes, as a person who has visited Israel many times, I feel sorry for the state of affairs in Israel presently. I have a gut feeling that all the nations are trying to isolate Israel by blaming it squarely for the Turkey ship attack. Nobody knows what exactly happened there. At this hour, it is our moral responsibility to raise our voice in favor of Israel. We can show our solidarity for the country by buying Israeli products and wearing T shirts that have pro Israeli words. One such product is available in the site: http://www.israeli-t.com/Israel-t-shirts/Support-Israel-t-shirts/Support-Israel-T-Shirt-2331/
We will help the country to come out of the present turmoil.
