About
Since the late 80’s, Dale Cohen has been taking people on tours to Israel, sharing his love of the land with everyone he comes in contact with. Dale has worked on several archaeological digs and served as the Field Supervisor for the 2004 dig at Kursi. Dale’s tours are not the traditional tours, meaning that instead of focusing in on all the Catholic churches in the land, his focus is on the biblical, historical, and archaeological sites. It is also important to Dale that the people on his tours meet the people and build long-lasting relationships with his friends who live in the land of Israel. In order to make this happen, Dale goes out in the evening with the group so that they can experience the modern Israel as well as the ancient Israel. He likes to keep his groups below 40 people in order to make the trip more enjoyable and personal. Since Dale does all the guiding himself, he has the flexibility that other groups do not always have.
About the Site
Enamored with Israel was created in 2009 to provide information on upcoming Israel tours, as well as to fill the role of a community site where well-seasoned Israel travelers can share their experiences. It is also a place to keep up with the latest news from the Land, to stay up-to-date on security concerns, and be the first to learn of any changes or news directly related to the tours.
